Oui, oui. I was aware of the Venus Project and the related ideas for quite some time. It is what I based some of my ideas for my own fictionalized cities of the future, Hub City Blues on.

The near future needs champions. If we don’t start addressing some of these issues both in fiction and in our evolving reality, we will spend our time reacting to change rather than being catalysts of effective change.

As I say in Hub City: The Future (as we know it) is Unsustainable.
